I named this presentation "A Five Day Fantasy" for a few reasons. First this is meant to be a multimedia presentation and as such, would have a musical component, the opening and closing musical selection is titled "Five Day Fantasy" by the musician Heidi Gluck. The music relays the feeling that my art here portrays. A solitude beyond belief this piece of work symbolises my inner struggle to find peace with myself through art and science. I believe that finally I have acomplished my philosophical goal of mergeing the two disiplines. The struggle with the mariage of Art with Science has come to a completion.

Just as in the poem by Dr. Stephan Johnson titled "The Cause" where he states "The void of space can seem as peace, to those who struggle without cease. So to the cause I enlist my soul, knowing well its empty toll." I've struggled through many things in my life, my art, my schooling, loss of good friends and the worse thing to happen to me, the death of my sence of wonder in this world were my struggles. My cause was to regain that sence of wonder in life, through this art I feel I have succeeded.

These places I create in the pictures below may not be real, but on the other hand they may exist in relaity, to me these places are real because I created them.

I would like to thank Heidi Gluck and the Accessories for the title of my portfolio for the year 2000 and would encourage them to continue with their music.
